We are developing a new resource aimed at freshmen families and other new band member families. The following list of parents, shown by section, have agreed to be resources/mentors to parents new to the high school band experience. Their role IS NOT to resolve conflicts, rather they are available to answer questions and provide guidance on issues that come up and how those issues have been handled in the past. Even if they do not know the answer, they probably know who does, or how to go about finding the right answer. These folks have been around several years. Use their experience to help you figure out all the issues that come up in the high school years. Using these folks’ knowledge will also help free the directors to concentrate on teaching opportunities with the students.
